Community Guidelines

Clear standards for customers and helpers sharing a real-world marketplace.

Effective date: 1 August 2026

Be respectful

Treat every person with dignity. Harassment, threats, bullying, sexual misconduct, hate speech, intimidation and retaliation are prohibited. Do not discriminate unlawfully based on race, religion, nationality, gender, disability, age or another protected characteristic.

Be honest

Describe tasks, experience, availability, prices and outcomes accurately. Do not impersonate another person, falsify verification, manipulate ratings, submit fake evidence or create accounts to evade enforcement.

Keep tasks safe and legal

Use NEEDS only for lawful services that can be performed safely. Follow instructions, licenses, workplace rules and reasonable protective measures. Never pressure another user to perform dangerous, illegal or materially undisclosed work.

Protect privacy

Use personal information only for the agreed task. Do not publish another person’s address, identity documents, payment details, private messages or images without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. Keep communication and evidence inside NEEDS where possible.

Use payments correctly

Do not request off-platform payment, disguised transfers, cash advances or payment for prohibited activity. Customers should secure the displayed payment before work begins, and helpers should use the verified payout process.

Ratings and performance

Ratings must reflect genuine completed-task experiences. Repeated serious poor performance may trigger warnings, review, reduced marketplace access or account removal. Fraudulent ratings or coercion may result in immediate restriction.

Report concerns

Use in-app task support for service and payment problems. Use the Dangerous feature for urgent safety cases, and contact local emergency services directly when anyone is in immediate danger. NEEDS is not an emergency response service.

Enforcement

NEEDS may remove content, pause tasks, limit features, withhold settlement pending review, suspend accounts, preserve evidence or report suspected crime where required or permitted. Decisions consider severity, context, reliable evidence and prior conduct.
